F1 75 Livery Launch: Recap
The grand F1 75 event celebrated the sport’s 75th anniversary with a spectacle that showcased each team's new colors in front of an eager audience. For the first time in Formula 1 history, all ten teams competing in the upcoming 2025 season unveiled their liveries on the same night at London’s O2 Arena. Teams revealed their new paintwork in reverse order of the 2024 championship standings, starting with Sauber and building up to a grand finale with the reigning champions, McLaren.
Sauber was the first to take the stage, unveiling a striking evolution of their 2024 neon green and carbon grey livery. Featuring a gradient effect somewhat reminiscent of their Las Vegas GP special scheme, the car’s green nose fades seamlessly into a dark grey rear half. Team Principal Mattia Binotto expressed his excitement:
“I feel energized for the new season. We are really looking forward to showing what we’re capable of in 2025.”
Following Sauber, Williams presented a livery that maintained its dark-to-royal blue gradient scheme, now accentuated with sleek white trim. The Duracell battery air intake remains an eye-catching detail, while new title sponsor Atlassian prominently features on the car. With a title sponsor and a multiple race-winning driver in Carlos Sainz, Williams awaits the beginning of a new era for the team this year. Team Principal James Vowles addressed the audience:
“This event is fantastic. Racing is in our heart, and 2025 starts now. We can’t wait to hit the track in Bahrain.”

Racing Bulls—formerly RB—embraced a simple yet elegant aesthetic with a predominantly white car, complemented by Red Bull’s signature red and yellow branding on the nose and roll hoop, reminding fans of THAT Turkish Grand Prix Red Bull Livery. Team boss Laurent Mekies emphasized the team’s philosophy:
“We live by three principles: being performance-obsessed, having a no-blame culture, and embracing no-nonsense approaches.
While Haas’s livery had been leaked online before the event, the team officially confirmed its return to a white-dominant scheme, accented by black and red angular graphics and flowing lines. New signing Esteban Ocon acknowledged the early leaks, stating:
“For you hardcore fans, you probably saw this coming, but we’re proud to officially unveil our beautiful car tonight.”
Alpine turned heads with a striking metallic blue and pink color scheme, surprisingly similar to that of the 1992 Brabham BT60B. The vibrant pink nose contrasts against the deep blue chassis, with BWT and new fuels partner Eni prominently displayed.
Aston Martin retained its traditional British Racing Green, enhanced by fluorescent yellow highlights on the sidepods. Lance Stroll admired the car’s aesthetics, while Fernando Alonso confidently declared:
“This is the best-looking car of the night. I can’t wait to get racing.”
MERCEDES
Mercedes unveiled a refined evolution of their 2024 livery, featuring silver, black, and Petronas teal. Notably, the INEOS red flash on the roll hoop has been removed in favor of additional silver detailing. Team Principal Toto Wolff praised the F1 75 event:
“Congratulations to F1—this is a milestone moment for the sport.”

Red Bull opted to stick with their well-established matte dark blue livery with a yellow nose and roll hoop branding. Having remained unchanged since 2016, the classic Red Bull design continues to be one of the most recognizable on the grid.
FERRARI
Ferrari, as expected, showcased their signature red livery, but with a major design change—white now dominates the engine cover, featuring title sponsor HP. This year marks the beginning of a new era for the Scuderia, with seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton making his debut alongside Charles Leclerc.
Hamilton expressed his enthusiasm:
“I feel so full of life and energy as I embark on this new chapter. The SF-25 looks incredible, and I’m proud to be part of Ferrari’s journey back to the top.”
Leclerc added:
“This season, our goal is clear: win the Constructors’ Championship and secure my first Drivers’ title.”
McLaren, the reigning champions, brought the event to a spectacular close with the unveiling of their 2025 livery. Their papaya and black color scheme remains unchanged from the championship-winning design of 2024.
The evening also featured a star-studded entertainment lineup. Machine Gun Kelly opened the show, country artist Kane Brown performed mid-event, and British pop legends Take That closed the night. Comedian Jack Whitehall hosted the proceedings, bringing humor and energy to the occasion.
With pre-season testing in Bahrain just a week away, teams will soon hit the track to put their 2025 challengers to the test. The Australian Grand Prix on March 14-16 will mark the start of what promises to be another thrilling Formula 1 season.
